In the fall of 1918, after four years of World War I, a mysterious deadly plague – “Spanish” flu strikes the young and old; causing mortality for many. Terror and helplessness is brought by soldiers returning home from the war. More people died of Spanish flu than killed in battle throughout the armed conflict.

The town of Unity, Saskatchewan is filled with paranoia. The town is quarantined in an attempt to keep the illness out. Trains are forbidden to stop, no one enters, and borders are sealed. Mail is burned. But when the disease descends upon the town, citizens begin to turn on each other.

Join us for this true historical account brought to life with Unity’s vivid characters and tragic story.
